FORMAT Tools. What Quality means to us Part 1
Monday, October 17, 2016
With so much choice in the cutting tool world, here at FORMAT Tools we understand that it can be hard for customers to work out which cutting tool manufacturer to choose.
1. The quality of the cutting tool itself
2. How cutting tool distributors are chosen and monitored by the cutting tool manufacturer
3. Breadth of cutting tool choice
4. Speed of delivery of the cutting tool
5. How the cutting tool manufacturer runs their business and is structured
6. Cutting tools pricing policy
In this blog story we will focus on number one, ‘The quality of the cutting tool itself.’
FORMAT Tools. A Commitment to Quality.
FORMAT Tools sells in to many tens of thousands companies across the UK. This is fantastic news but there is one other statistic that is even more important to us than that. It is how many of our customers buy from us more than once.
In competitive environments, distributor incentives exist help new and existing brands to be chosen, and whilst such offers are great opportunities for win: wins in the short term, the real test is how the relationship develops in the longer term.
At FORMAT Tools we don’t just focus on selling cutting tools – we want to build on-going working relationships with our distributors and the users of our cutting tools. That is why we are very proud of the fact that so many UK based manufacturers choose FORMAT Tools over and over again.
OUR Commitment to Quality is YOUR commitment to quality.
We understand that the quality of our cutting tool impacts directly on the quality of our customer’s output. That is why our dealers are so well trained to make sure that the quality we create ‘in here’ translates ‘out there’ too.
Quality and Trust
Another important issue to FORMAT Tools on the subject of quality is trust and transparency. So in our world our dealers will only promise what we can deliver, and we will always deliver on what we promise.
We worry that too much choice in the cutting tool market can lead to over-promising, so we do avoid this at all costs. We know the best tools for the job and if that sometimes means it’s a little more expensive in the short term, our distributors will tell you that. After all, it is the quality of the job you are doing that is so important to you, and us.
